Tiny Green Mom’s Simple Broccoli Salad

Inspired by a family friend’s recipe that originally called for bacon and regular mayonnaise, this broccoli salad has been made over by “Mom” and takes just minutes to make! Makes an excellent side dish to just about anything!
Tiny Green Mom’s Simple Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
2 heads of broccoli, stems included, cut into small pieces
4 tbsp. yellow onion, freshly chopped
¼ cup organic raisins
¼ cup organic dried cranberries
½ cup organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tbsp. sunflower seeds (optional)
Mix above ingredients in one bowl. Set aside.
To make dressing:
1 cup Vegenaise®
¼ – ½ cup organic sugar
3 ½ tbsp. white wine vinegar
Mix together in separate bowl, and then add into the broccoli salad mixture. Serve immediately.
