This quick and easy dressing featuring SUSTA™ Natural Sweetener tastes delightful over salads or chicken, plus it provides extra protein because of the peanut butter. See the recipe below for “Mom’s” additions.
Asian Peanut Salad Dressing
Ingredients
1 1/3 cups salad oil (“Mom” used Grapeseed Oil)
¼ cup sesame oil
2 TBSP cider vinegar
1/3 cup chunky peanut butter (microwave for 15 seconds to soften) (“Mom” used organic, no stir peanut butter)
¼ cup soy sauce
1/3 cup SustaBowl
1 TBSP fresh grated ginger
1 TBSP fresh grated garlic
Yield: Makes approximately 2 cups Salad dressing
Preparation
Heat peanut butter slightly for easier mixing. Add oils, Vinegar, and SustaBowl. Mix together until uniform. Add garlic and ginger. Mix well.
** For Chinese Chicken Salad, pour about ½ cup of the marinade over cooked shredded or sliced chicken. Toss and refrigerate until ready to serve.
** If dressing is made ahead and refrigerated. Let dressing sit out at room temperature 2 hours before serving to make pouring easier.
