Since love is in the air, the aroma of a sweet homemade dessert should be as well! For those looking to try something outside of the box, a helping of Glazed Apple Wedges provides a surprisingly healthy, and subtly sweet option for a romantic after-dinner treat.

Glazed Apple Wedges

Ingredients

4 Granny Smith apples
1 tsp vegetable oil
½ cup chopped, dried apricots
2 ActiFry spoons maple syrup or honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation

Peel and core the apples; cut into wedges. Place the apple wedges in a bowl. Toss the apples with the oil to coat wedges evenly. Place the apples in the ActiFry pan (as suggested by T-fal). Cook for 10 minutes. Add the apricots, maple syrup and cinnamon. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are tender and well-glazed. Substitute dried cranberries or raisins for the apricots.
