Rather than reaching for a cup of java or heading to the vending machine for a candy bar, pack some of these along for a quick pick-me-up!

2 cups raw macadamia nuts

1 cup dates

½ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened, unsulphured)

3 tbsp cocoa powder, optional

Agave nectar, optional


Process all ingredients until they are sticky enough to form into balls. Add agave nectar if mixture is too dry, or you desire more sweetness. Roll into balls. Dust with cocoa powder or coconut if desired.
