For those who like their coffee strong and served cold in the summertime, this 2 ingredient granita promises to deliver! It makes a wonderful addition to a summer brunch in lieu of hot coffee. Thanks Chef Jason McClure!
Caffe Vita Espresso Granita
4 C. brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee
¾ C to 1 C. of sugar
Brew coffee , add sugar and stir until dissolved. Cool and then place in a shallow pan . place in the freezer and stir every 20 minutes or so until frozen. Scrape with a fork, and then spoon into glasses. It is fantastic with a bit of fresh whipped cream to garnish!
