This yummy recipe makes enough for a Sunday brunch for 12! Featuring dates and almond milk, this protein-packed Vegan smoothie is delightfully creamy & refreshing!

Dates are Great Breakfast Smoothie


6 cups unsweetened almond milk

6 cups pitted dates (packaged)

6 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 teaspoons nutmeg

18 cups ice cubes


Blend all ingredients, except ice, in a blender or food processor until smooth. Then add ice cubes, blending until the mixture is thick and smooth. Divide into cups. Garnish with an optional dusting of unsweetened cocoa. Serve with a straw.

Makes 12 8-oz servings.
