A healthy start to any morning, this fruity smoothie is packed with protein, but from silken tofu, not added whey, rice or soy protein powder! Due to the silken texture of the tofu, the smoothie is light and creamy!
Fruity Smoothie
Ingredients
2 cups ice
2 ounces silken tofu
1 medium banana
1 cup strawberries, hulled and quartered
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup apple juice
2 tablespoons honey
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preparation
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
