This is a perfect September recipe and works with both plums and peaches! It will keep in the fridge for about 2 weeks and you can simply pull out and serve with anything from the grill.

Peach & Mustard Seed Chutney

2 peaches
1 red onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp yellow mustard seeds
1/4 cup honey
1/2 jalapeño pepper or local fall chili’s finely chopped (or 1 tbsp chili flakes)
1/4 cup bouillon cube
1 1/2 cups white cooking wine
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Roughly chop up the onion, peaches and garlic gloves. Melt the butter in a deep pan over medium heat and add the peaches, jalapeño, onion and garlic to the pan and let it sauté for 2 minutes while stirring. Add all the other ingredients and simply let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes or until the peaches are “falling apart.”

Serve with your favorite things from the grill, such as veggies, chicken or salmon.
