This simple recipe courtesy of Chef Walter Pisano at Kimpton’s Tulio Ristorante in Seattle is healthy and delicious! Chef Pisano is a dad and his kids just love this take on French fries! This recipe can be made as a variation using a variety of other fruits in season as well – apples, pears, etc.
Wrap paper (optional)
Cut away the watermelon rind. Cut thin slices of watermelon and slice into sticks. To plate, either pile on a plate to create the look of fries or wrap in sandwich wrap paper to create a cone for the “fries” to be placed inside. Enjoy!
