A bounty from the garden enhanced with Sun-Maid raisins, this crisp, colorful salad can be served as a first course, or as the main meal!

Bountiful Health Salad



1 head red leaf lettuce, torn in pieces and chilled
1 tomato, cut into wedges
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
1 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
1 cup croutons
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup sunflower nuts
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Salt and pepper


1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon basil
1 small clove garlic, minced


COMBINE all salad ingredients except salt and pepper.
COMBINE all dressing ingredients; blend well.
POUR dressing over salad; add salt and pepper to taste.
TOSS well; serve immediately.
